About Joey:

Joey is originally from Lake Zurich, Illinois. He then went on to graduate from Butler University in May 2020. While at Butler, he played four years of Division-One football as a tight end. 

​

Joey has covered events including College Football for ESPN, the NIBC High School Hoops Series on ESPN, USA Lacrosse International Sixes, NWSL Soccer, USL-C Soccer, and more.

​

Some of Joey's favorite things to do outside the booth include playing other sports with friends like tennis and sand volleyball, competing in triathlons, telling great jokes, chilling out and watching Modern Family or Ted Lasso, and spending time with his niece and three nephews back home in Chicago because "Funcle Joey" is a lifestyle.
